Hi, I’m Ruth!
I’m a Lifestyle Portrait and Wedding Photographer based in southeastern Pennsylvania, just outside of Philadelphia. I’ve been capturing life’s most beautiful moments professionally since 2015, and I truly love every minute of it!

Photography wasn’t always part of my plan. My journey began years ago when my middle child, who has Autism, struggled with traditional portrait studios—the bright lights, long waits, and overwhelming environment just weren’t an option for him. Like any mama, I still longed for photos of my children as they grew, so I started taking them myself. Every year, I’d photograph my kids for our Christmas cards, never imagining that hobby would one day blossom into the business I have today.

One November, a sweet co-worker saw something in me that I hadn’t seen in myself. After receiving our Christmas card, she asked if I’d take portraits of her daughters for their Christmas card that year. Even though at the time all I had was my phone and a heart full of passion, that one simple “yes” changed everything.

Today, I have the incredible privilege of being home with my children during the week—homeschooling them  —and spending weekends photographing other families’ most precious memories. My background as a preschool teacher gives me not only a deep love for children but also the patience and creativity to connect with even the littlest ones during sessions.

Whether I’m photographing a giggly toddler, a glowing mama-to-be, or a couple on their wedding day, my heart is always the same: to create images that you will treasure for a lifetime—moments filled with joy, connection, and love.
